What is Watershed Planning?

 Watershed planning is a voluntary and collaborative process in which local stakeholders work with communities, organizations, technical advisors, and federal agencies to address water quality protection and conservation within the local watershed. Firstly, planning involves conducting resource inventories to determine environmental problems and sources. With the inventory complete, planning moves forward with the creation of goals and a vision, and forming of an action plan.
